Sometimes when life seems out of control and overwhelming....we are given a gift, usually a small moment in time that is so wonderful we don't want it to ever end. I like to call these "pause moments". Last night I experienced a pause moment, I was holding both the kids on my lap and they were being so sweet. I sang to them, read to them and just cuddled them for the longest time. It was just what I needed!

Those are the ONLY reasons to become a mom. They are the best reasons. The rest is just hard work!

I love those moments where your joy is overflowing and you just have to stop and thank the Lord for this glimpse of eternity. Those are my favorite, and they come a lot more often than I could ever have hoped for.
Perfect! Now if you can figure out a way to go back to that moment when Jordan is coloring Alayna with a permanent marker....
I love those moments! I justwant to freeze them so I can enjoy them longer. Those times make all the work of being a mom no so bad.
