The WHOLE SUMMER in one post??? Yep, it's all in there!

Our awesome summer began with the event we've been looking forward to for.....pretty much forever!!!

Our first thing on the to-do-list after graduation was to take a road trip across the country. We drove to Colorado with our friends (who really are more like family than friends) and we had a great adventure moving them into their new home. We loved having one last hoorah with the Nielsons before saying our super sad goodbye's

We drove from Colorado to Utah and spent 3 fun filled weeks there. We hardly have any pictures from the trip because we were too busy living it up! Some of our favorites were visiting the historic sites in St. George with Justin's parents, going to the movie with cousins and spending the weekend at my parents cabin (we like to pretend it's the family's cabin!)

While we were in Utah, we took a quick trip up to Idaho to visit my sister Cindy and her wonderful family. Alayna and Jordan rode horses for the very first time. It was a really big deal for Laynee because she LOVES horses and she talkes about them all the time! We also took a walk/bike ride/4 wheeler ride up through "The Gap" (an awesome gap in the mountain just up the road from Cindy's amazing home). My super talented and wonderful niece Katie took a bunch of pictures of the kiddos just for fun, and we'd like to think the pics belong in a magazine because they are so dang cute!

Upon arriving home from our awesome road trip, Justin began looking for temp jobs to hold us over until his dental office is up and running....(we originally thought his office would be ready early in the summer, but after lots of set-backs it will most likely be opening at the end of September-ish). He has had quite a few temp jobs, mostly in Northern Indiana. We've tagged along with him a few times and made the trips into little mini vacations. We especially loved the Amish country in Northern Indiana!

We went to the Elkhart county fair in Indiana and had a really great time. We later found out it is the 2nd best county fair in the US, I wonder which one is #1.

To top it all off, we got to visit the beach!....kinda
We went to a place called the Indiana Dunes State Park. It's on Lake Michigan, and it is AWESOME! We totally felt like we were at the ocean (minus the salt water and big waves :)

It was another great summer for the Sorenson family. We can hardly wait to see what fall will bring!
