This year we decided to drive across the country and surprise our family and friends for the holidays. We had such a great time, and we only experienced a few "bumps" in the road. Grandma Judy's SCREAM of surprise and Auntie Shanna's near hyperventilation made the drive totally worth it! We only took a few pictures, but we made some of the best memories yet!
just a few of our favs:
Justin, Jordan and Grandpa Roger making Grandpa's yummy divinity
Jordan and Laynee's sleep over with their cousins Jace, Livy and Bella
A perfect girls day out, Temple, lunch and the Nutcracker
Dinner out with Jo's family
Singing songs around the piano
Strolling along the sidewalk at the District buying last minute gifts on Christmas Eve
Laying under the Christmas tree with Grandma Doris
Movie night with Grandma Judy
Chilling out at a hotel, a first for the kids
some of the highlights of our trip not captured on camera
-Surprising our families
-"Sub-for-Santa" shopping
-Playing in the snow
-Family parties (sweet gifts and great food)
-Hanging with friends
-Playing Super Mario Bro's Wii for hours
despite the snowstorm in Wyoming, Jo's bout with food poisoning and the car breaking down on the way back to KY, we are SO glad we went home to Utah for the holidays, and we cherish the time we spent with our family!!!

It look like so much fun. Love the cute pictures.
How wonderful to be able to be with family, and to be able to pull off such a surprise!
