I don't usually post anything negative on this blog, it's used mainly for posting pictures and updates for our family living far away. But today I feel like sharing a little bit of real life. The past week has been one of the hardest of my life. Nobody died.....nobody even got physically hurt for that matter. But some hearts were hurt. Life is really tough, especially when you're human, which of course we all are. I know trials are an important part of life, but it sure stinks when you're in the middle of them! I wish everyone (including myself) had an outlook on life similar to this amazing man....

Jo, you're beautiful inside and out-- you have such a drive to do what is right and especially help and lift those around you. You've always had that gift of reaching out and you do now more than ever... which is probably a reason why this is so hard: Because you care so much, so deeply about others. That's you and I love it... though I wish you could be spared that pain.
